About Me

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Before that, I was a graduate student at Michigan State University where I completed my PhD in math and my master's degree through the Program in Mathematics Education (PRIME). My mathematical research interests are in equivariant homotopy theory and my PhD thesis research was advised by Teena Gerhardt. In math education, my research interests lie in student understanding of argument and my master's program advisor was Shiv Smith Karunakaran.

I completed by bachelor's degree at Northern Michigan University in 2018 in chemistry and mathematics.

I was a recent guest on the Journeys of Scientists podcast produced by the Women and Minorities in the Physical Sciences organization at MSU. You can listen here!
