About Me

I did my undergraduate studies at Northern Michigan University, located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula right on the coast of Lake Superior. I graduated in 2018 with bachelor's degrees in mathematics and chemistry.

As a graduate student at Michigan State, I've been involved with the MSU chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) and Graduate Women in Science (GWIS). As part of the GWIS executive board I chaired the 2022 Girls' Math and Science Day at MSU, a community STEM event designed to excite middle school girls about science and mathematics.

Currently, I serve as the treasurer for the MSU Graduate Employees Union (GEU) which is bargaining a new contract this year that includes a livable wage, affordable healthcare, and just working conditions. For more information about the labor rights of teaching assistants at MSU and our ongoing campaigns, please visit geuatmsu.org.

In my free time I enjoy baking, hanging out with my cats Fitzwilliam Darcy (rear) and Charles Bingley (front) and solving the New York Times daily crossword.
